A health and beauty salon, an Eastern European supermarket, a national tanning chain and a senior care business have all agreed leases at Coronation Square, in Edinburgh Place.

Biedroni.com, which already has shops in Tewkesbury and Gloucester, is to open a 1556 sq ft store at 4-5 Gresham Court after agreeing a 15-year lease with LCP, the national commercial property and investment company that manages the parade on behalf of Sheet Anchor Investments Ltd, which is part of the LCP group of companies.

Golden Spa has exchanged contracts for 44 Goldsmith Road, a 408 sq ft unit, and plans to convert it into a health and beauty salon, while an organisation that provides care services to older people has also signed a five-year lease for 92 Edinburgh Place.

Rakesh Joshi, senior asset manager at LCP, said: “Since we took over the management of Coronation Square just over 15 months ago, we’ve been working hard to refurbish the available units to help attract new tenants to this busy community shopping parade and have plans to carry out high level works to the external fabric and structure of the building and yards.

“Now we have a full complement of tenants, local shoppers have a vibrant mix of retailers on their doorstep, from nationally known names to small, independent shops.”

Coronation Square is located three miles west of Cheltenham town centre and comprises 30 stores, anchored by Farmfoods, Savers, BHF and Iceland. A large car park to the rear can accommodate up to 100 vehicles.
