COMIC CON ARRIVES AT THE CENTRE, LIVINGSTON

Set phasers to stun this Easter as Comic Con hyperdrives into The Centre, Livingston.

Shoppers and geek culture aficionados are expected to flock to The Centre on the 6th - 7th April for the first Livingston Comic Con event.

Visitors can meet and take selfies with some of the best-loved cosplay characters from comics and the big screen as well as being able to see original props and memorabilia from TV and movies. Merchandise and art will be available to buy as will toys and cards. For the smaller jedi’s and spidermen, there will be keepsakes to create and keep on the day.

Neil Woodward, Asset Manager for LCP, Livingston said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Comic Con is coming to The Centre, Livingston this Easter. Based on similar events around the country we could see visitor numbers as high as 15,000 for this FREE event which is set to generate increased footfall across The Centre, Livingston as a whole.

“On top of this, The Centre, which features over 150 shops and places to eat, will also be running a range of FREE Easter-themed events including a trail, face painting and crafts. So whether you’re wearing bunny or elvish ears, it’s the perfect weekend to be transported to a shopping centre that’s out of this world.”
